Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role offers flexibility and convenience, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still engaging deeply with our clients. You will be trusted to maintain communication with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive and integrated care. Your schedule will primarily consist of weekdays, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, some flexibility may be required based on patient needs and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and formulate tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at guiding patients through trauma recovery while building resilience and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to help patients process their trauma experiences and foster community support.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and maximize therapeutic outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring each client's immediate needs are met.

• Assist patients and their families in understanding trauma responses and coping mechanisms, while actively connecting them to resources and support systems.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation to adhere to legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights on trauma-informed care best practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research developments and evidence-based practices in trauma therapy, applying your knowledge to improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals who have experienced trauma and suffer from PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. You will work closely with clients of varying ages, backgrounds, and cultures, providing them with tailored therapeutic interventions that resonate with their unique experiences. Your understanding and compassion will be instrumental in helping these individuals feel safe and supported as they embark on their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly in trauma-informed care.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in evidence-based trauma therapies such as EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations while maintaining professionalism.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.

• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
