Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is primarily onsite within our fully equipped rehabilitation facility located in Ashburn, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with us, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or other medical conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans in accordance with their individual needs.
• Implementing and modifying treatment protocols that utilize evidence-based techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training to maximize recovery.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient treatment progress, responses, and outcomes in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Regularly reassessing and redefining therapeutic goals to align with patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Providing education and training for patients, caregivers, and family members on home care strategies, assistive devices, and self-management techniques to enhance recovery.
• Staying current with best practices through continuous professional development, attending workshops, and participating in relevant professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Your role will be crucial in applying individualized approaches that foster patient empowerment and motivation throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Full-Time Physical Therapist position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license for the State of Virginia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create rapport with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer software.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

While a background in physical therapy is essential, we welcome applicants with at least two years of clinical experience. However, we also provide mentorship to new graduates, allowing you to develop your skills under the guidance of experienced physical therapists.

Compensation and Benefits
