Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function in accordance with individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic tests, assessing muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities.
• Design and manage tailored rehabilitation plans that consider the client's home environment and support increasing their independence.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic exercises and educate clients on self-management techniques to enhance their recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Oversee physical therapy assistants to ensure effective implementation and adherence to the patient's care plan.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, communicating with case managers and physicians regarding any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.
• Contribute actively to interdisciplinary team meetings focused on comprehensive patient care and treatment evaluation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with organizational and legal requirements.
• Educate clients and their families about the proper use and care of therapeutic devices and their overall physical therapy programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic pain, and patients with mobility impairments. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in acute care or home care settings.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation facility or private practice environment.
• Familiarity with current rehabilitation technologies and treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
