Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each patient's physical capabilities, mobility needs, and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Administer targeted therapeutic exercises focusing on pain reduction and strength enhancement, either one-on-one or in group sessions as required.
• Regularly monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to align with real-time recovery outcomes.
• Work closely with a collaborative team to coordinate patient care seamlessly, ensuring open lines of communication across disciplines.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers about their recovery and wellness strategies, empowering them with the knowledge of effective home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all state and federal regulations, ensuring transparency and accountability in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults and seniors in a skilled nursing facility setting, addressing a variety of conditions including post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries, and neurological disorders. Your clinical expertise will be essential in fostering patients' independence, guiding them through their healing journeys, and adapting therapies to individual rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a doctorate or master's degree is highly preferred.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care environments.
• Demonstrated ability in clinical reasoning and strong interpersonal communication skills that enhance teamwork and patient interactions.
• A genuine passion for patient care, exhibiting patience and empathy towards individuals navigating their recovery journeys.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in advanced therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound therapy, or vestibular rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to assist in efficient documentation and patient tracking.
• Previous involvement in clinical or academic mentorship within the field of Physical Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
