Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their specific needs and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques including exercise, therapeutic modalities, and manual therapy to facilitate patient recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Instruct patients and families on proper techniques and strategies for daily living, mobility, and usage of assistive devices.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care plans and share insights to enhance service delivery.
• Stay abreast of advancements in the field by attending professional development workshops and reviewing relevant literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist in this role will engage primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clientele ranges from pediatric patients with sports injuries to elderly patients requiring rehabilitation post-surgery. You'll play a pivotal role in helping these individuals regain mobility and return to their daily activities with confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey treatment plans and progress to patients and their families.
• Strong proficiency with computer systems and documentation software used in patient records.

Compensation and Benefits
