Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their specific rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on improving mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain an efficient patient load to ensure that each patient receives dedicated attention and care.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
• Document all patient interactions efficiently using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate records and facilitate communication among team members.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes, self-care strategies, and promote adherence to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Lightning Rehab Therapy, you will primarily focus on outpatient clients who require rehabilitation due to sports injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will also involve working with a diverse array of patients, from young athletes to seniors, each with unique challenges and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy techniques and the latest advancements in the field.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and the ability to design effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.

• A record of successful patient outcomes and strong references regarding patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
