CNC Lathe MachinistAerospace & Medical Manufacturing | 2nd Shift | Climate-Controlled Shop

• Perform complete CNC lathe setups on new and repeat jobs
• Set up and operate advanced CNC lathes including dual-spindle and twin-turret machines
• Edit programs at the machine to optimize production and quality
• Machine precision aerospace and medical components to extremely tight tolerances
• Read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings
• Select tooling, make offsets, and troubleshoot machining issues
• Work with stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, Inconel, brass, and other specialty alloys
• Utilize live tooling and multi-axis machining capabilities
• Inspect parts and ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Support a variety of job-shop projects with changing setups and production runs

• 3+ years of CNC Lathe setup experience
• Experience holding tight tolerances up to ± .0002
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience editing programs at the machine
• Fanuc control experience
• Experience with Doosan, Puma, Daewoo, or similar CNC lathes
• Ability to machine small, complex precision components
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Aerospace or medical device machining
• Twin-turret, dual-spindle, or live-tooling experience
• Multi-axis machining experience
• Experience machining titanium, Inconel, and other exotic alloys
• Advanced tooling and setup knowledge

2nd Shift

• Full-time position
• Consistent schedule with overtime opportunities available

This is a clean, organized, temperature-controlled precision machining facility equipped with modern CNC lathes featuring dual spindles, twin turrets, live tooling, and multi-axis capabilities. You'll work on a variety of challenging aerospace and medical components ranging from very small, intricate parts to larger precision-machined products while collaborating with a highly skilled team focused on quality and continuous improvement.

• Ideal candidates are CNC Lathe Machinists who enjoy setups, troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and producing high-precision aerospace or medical components in a fast-paced job-shop environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
