Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing mental health professionals the flexibility to work from home while remaining fully engaged in patient care. Our work environment is characterized by continuous collaboration and support among team members, encouraging a holistic approach to mental health. The schedule includes work from Monday to Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to uncover patients' unique backgrounds and develop specialized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect and consider patients' cultural and personal contexts, promoting better patient engagement and outcomes.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to foster resilience, support mental health recovery, and enhance well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of patient health.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to patients during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and effective de-escalation.
\n
• Educate patients and their families not only about mental health conditions but also about treatment options and available community resources that can aid their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards in record-keeping.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to stay current with best practices in the field.

• Engage with the latest research and developments in mental health to ensure your therapeutic practices remain at the forefront of the profession.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily revolve around individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. By bringing your expertise to communities including but not limited to ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants, you will have the chance to directly influence and improve the mental health outcomes of those who often face significant barriers to accessing care. Equally important is our commitment to ensuring your therapeutic approach is culturally responsive, fostering a sense of belonging and trust with each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proven experience delivering inclusive individual and group therapy, particularly to diverse populations.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills demonstrated through previous experience in managing complex, emergency situations in a mental health context.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and rapport-building skills tailored to support effective interactions with clients from all walks of life.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality in all interactions.

• A collaborative spirit conducive to working within a multidisciplinary team focused on integrated care delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
