Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one counseling sessions that help clients explore their thoughts and feelings while developing coping skills.

• Facilitating group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and shared experiences among participants.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population served by Berks Counseling Center includes adults aged 18 and older who are struggling with a variety of issues related to mental health and substance abuse. Our team is equipped to treat individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring disorders, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care that acknowledges the complexity of each patient's experience. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Pennsylvania.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $52,000 to $60,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
