Bayridge Counselling is urgently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team and provide exceptional behavioral healthcare services to clients across California. As a fully remote position, this role offers the flexibility to work from home while effectively managing a caseload of clients.

Work Environment\n

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our remote work model allows you to set up a personalized workspace at home. Should you choose to engage in in-person client sessions, we offer the option of working in our outpatient office located in Portola, California. You will have access to advanced digital technology tools to facilitate smooth teletherapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions primarily via a secure telehealth platform, ensuring a high level of confidentiality and comfort for clients.

• Provide culturally competent, ethical, and evidence-based therapeutic care tailored to the unique backgrounds and experiences of clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation including treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports to support continuity of care.

• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care when necessary, ensuring the best client outcomes.

• Participate in team meetings, peer supervision, and ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse array of clients, including individuals and families ranging from various socio-economic backgrounds and cultures. Our focus on providing inclusive therapy means that you will be equipped to address myriad issues such as relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• Must hold an active California LMFT license, demonstrating competency in mental health practices.
\n
• Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
\n
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote therapy delivery.
\n
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and capable of quickly establishing rapport with clients.

• A commitment to maintaining a minimum caseload of 10 clients and 15 appointments per month.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in specialized areas, such as trauma-informed care, cultural competence, or family dynamics, would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Prior experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
