Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, leading to accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans. You will facilitate both individual and group psychotherapy sessions that address a diverse range of psychological conditions.

• Engage in crisis intervention, working effectively with clients in distress and utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure their immediate safety and well-being.

• Prepare detailed documentation, including treatment plans, intake summaries, and case notes, while maintaining strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate closely with physicians and other allied health professionals to optimize client care, including assessing the need for psychotropic medications and monitoring their effects.

• Provide educational support to clients and their families regarding treatment processes, medication adherence, and therapeutic techniques to foster better understanding and cooperation.

• Act as a consultant to other healthcare providers, offering insights into mental health matters, and developing integrative care strategies to enhance patient outcomes.

• Involve family members in treatment plans when appropriate, ensuring a support system is in place to facilitate recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adult and child clients who present a variety of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex conditions. You will engage with a diverse patient population, utilizing culturally competent practices to ensure that all clients receive understanding and respect throughout their treatment experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• At least three years of clinical experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting under licensed supervision, with a proven track record in therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention, individual therapy, and group psychotherapy contexts.

• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective, evidence-based treatment plans that yield positive outcomes.

• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, with a preference for those with experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family therapy.
