This position offers the unique benefit of a fully remote work setting, allowing for a flexible schedule that promotes work-life balance. While you will primarily conduct sessions from your home office, you will also have access to our outpatient office in Lowell for meetings and collaboration with team members when necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, documenting findings effectively using electronic health record systems like AVATAR.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, taking into consideration their personal history and treatment goals.
\n
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions—both individual and group—ensuring an interactive, therapeutic environment that encourages client participation and progression.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress against treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
\n
• Work closely with fellow healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to devise coordinated intervention strategies for clients requiring multidisciplinary support.

• Educate clients and their families regarding coping strategies, identifying obstacles to recovery and providing assistance in addressing mental health challenges.
\n
• Manage referrals effectively, ensuring clients receive comprehensive care that meets their ongoing needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of adults, adolescents, and families struggling with various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. Your role will focus on understanding their unique challenges and collaborating with them to establish effective treatment interventions that promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within Massachusetts.
\n
• A passage of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in mental health counseling, particularly those outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, particularly in outpatient settings.

• Familiarity with managing clients presenting with both psychological challenges and underlying physical health conditions.

• Experience working with addiction disorders.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, reflective of your experience and expertise in the field.
