Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and collaboratively develop strategic treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, facilitating both individual and group sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational groups to foster resilience and community amongst clients addressing common mental health challenges.

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment coherence.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, offering stabilization and support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed choices.

• Document patient interactions and treatment plans in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to enhance collaborative practices and stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population consists of individuals facing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance-related conditions. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet each patient's cultural, emotional, and circumstantial needs. Your role will be critical in building rapport and establishing trust, fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages clients to engage actively in their recovery processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California or another relevant certification that meets state regulations.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments and creating effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Experienced in delivering mental health therapy to a broad demographic, including individual and group therapy settings.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.

• Sound judgment and a solid understanding of professional ethics and boundaries in mental health practice.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
