Sales Development Representative (New York, NY)

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will partner with Account Executives and Marketing to manage leads, drive new customer engagement, and support revenue growth at Box. Responsibilities Act as the initial point of contact for new customers across all sales channels and respond promptly to their inquiries. Engage potential clients via calls, emails, and other communication channels to create business opportunities. Negotiate and close contracts for deals totaling less than $5,000 in Annual Recurring Revenue. Build relationships with a broad range of clients and promote Box solutions. Listen attentively to understand customer requirements and articulate how Box can meet those needs. Consistently meet established quota targets for territorial revenue growth. Maintain accurate lead metrics and adhere to Salesforce standards. Occasionally close deals independently with smaller organizations. Qualifications Strong interest in a career in outbound sales. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Experience engaging customers and resolving challenges efficiently. Excellent time‑management skills. Strong relationship‑building abilities. Strong communication skills and proven ability to identify potential customer opportunities. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a lead‑generation role or sales. Track record of success in a performance‑driven role focused on meeting specific metrics. Benefits & Compensation Annual base salary range: $65,000 – $81,500 USD. Eligible for equity and benefits (details available upon request). Work from the assigned office minimum of 3 days per week.
