Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to uncover clients' mental health challenges, utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools to form a holistic understanding of their needs. Create personalized treatment plans based on the unique situations and preferences of each client, incorporating proven therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Facilitate individual therapy sessions, adapting treatment approaches in real-time based on client feedback and progress. Monitor therapeutic goals and progress regularly, providing clients with constructive feedback and therapeutic adjustments as needed. Offer teletherapy options, ensuring access to care for clients who may have mobility issues, transportation challenges, or those who prefer virtual sessions. Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans to comply with ethical standards and regulatory requirements. Engage in ongoing professional development through training and workshops, reinforcing your clinical skills and enhancing the quality of care provided to clients. Patient Population / Client Focus The counselor will serve a diverse client population facing challenges primarily associated with anxiety and depression. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, requiring tailored approaches to meet their individual therapeutic needs. Qualifications Must possess a current and valid license in Arizona as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Strong interpersonal abilities, demonstrating effective communication and the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds. Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to treatment, ensuring clients feel safe and respected in their therapeutic environment. Possess excellent organizational and time-management skills, enabling the management of diverse caseloads effectively. Preferred Experience Experience in a private practice setting is highly advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with telehealth technology and virtual therapeutic practices is a plus. Previous experience in working with clients facing trauma, anxiety, and depression, utilizing various therapeutic techniques. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on your caseload and level of experience.
