Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take on a pivotal role supporting middle school students during the 2026–2027 academic year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based environment. Your work will focus on approximately 50 students, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on their communication skills and educational success.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with middle school-aged students, is desirable
• Extensive knowledge of conducting speech-language evaluations, implementing therapy, and developing IEP goals
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for middle school students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs through direct and indirect speech-language services
• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions aligned with student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and administrators to ensure cohesive and effective support
• Maintain thorough and accurate student records in compliance with all regulatory standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
