Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized therapy plans, ensuring they meet the specific needs of each client.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, couples, and families. This may include but is not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in continued education workshops and training sessions to remain informed on the latest mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Biomedica, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, who are seeking support for various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Many of our clients have limited access to traditional mental health resources, making your role crucial in providing the care they need.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical environment is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
