Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to the developmental goals of children.

• Monitor progress and outcomes as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team.

• Provide emotional support and educational resources to families, empowering them to support their child's development effectively.

• Adhere to all federal and state regulations while providing high-quality care.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop joint plans with families, employing strategies that respect their unique contexts and needs.

• Facilitate IFSP implementation, adjusting service frequency based on the evolving developmental progress and family priorities.

• Implement the coaching model and natural environment teaching methodologies to ensure optimal learning opportunities for children.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to keep abreast of best practices in social work and early intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays, ensuring they acquire essential skills during the critical first three years of life. Our services cater to a diverse clientele, encompassing varying backgrounds and needs, allowing our LCSWs to make meaningful impacts on the lives of children and their families.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the California Department of Public Health.

• One year of experience working in early intervention settings, directly with children.
