This role is entirely remote, enabling you to deliver high-quality mental health counseling from your chosen workspace. Our remote model allows for flexibility while maintaining normal working hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will have access to our advanced telehealth platforms and clinical resources to effectively engage with clients and document progress efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate the symptoms and needs of clients dealing with mood disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific goals and circumstances, ensuring the integration of evidence-based practices.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) through virtual sessions, focusing on symptom management and emotional regulation.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, discussing treatment options, and offering guidance on effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, ensuring all aspects of clients' treatment plans are synchronized.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health care, particularly related to mood disorders, to continually enhance your therapeutic skills.

• Maintain strictly confidential records of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Advocate for clients in the community, helping to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues and ensuring their voices are heard in the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our practice encourages a supportive atmosphere where clients feel safe to express their feelings and challenges, and you will play a critical role in guiding their recovery journey through effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT.

• Knowledge of psychopharmacology to enhance collaboration with psychiatrists.

• Proven ability to achieve effective outcomes in mood disorder treatments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
