As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with us, you will operate in a remote setting, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining a strong connection with clients. Our outpatient office is equipped with the latest telehealth technology, facilitating remote counseling sessions as well as in-person meetings when appropriate. Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate open discussions with clients to encourage self-awareness and emotional growth, creating a safe and trusting environment for them to express their feelings.

• Actively advocate for clients' needs by identifying their challenges and assisting them in setting and achieving realistic goals tailored to their personal and mental health aspirations.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions through secure video conferencing platforms as well as face-to-face consultations, addressing a variety of mental health issues.

• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients’ psychological well-being, creating individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices geared towards client success.

• Employ solution-focused therapeutic approaches and interventions, drawing on your clinical expertise to improve clients' mental health outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting progress and adjustments to treatment plans as needed to align with evolving client goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults, presenting a diverse array of mental health issues—including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Each counselor is expected to demonstrate cultural competence and an understanding of the unique experiences of clients from various backgrounds. Your ability to connect with these individuals and foster a sense of understanding is vital in promoting their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California is mandatory.

• Demonstrable experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families; familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, etc.) is appreciated.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish rapport with clients, helping them feel safe and understood.

• A strong commitment to cultural competence and a passion for providing inclusive and affirming care to all clients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective teamwork and clear documentation.

• Ability to work independently, making sound clinical judgments, while also thriving as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
