This position is fully remote, providing flexibility and allowing counselors to work from the comfort of their own home while maintaining a close-knit team connection through virtual collaboration. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that promote positive outcomes.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique situations of individuals, couples, and families, employing methodologies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Leading psychoeducational and support groups that address common mental health issues, offering patients a sense of community and shared experience.

• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer counselors to deliver coordinated and holistic patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety for patients.

• Educating patients about their mental health conditions, exploring available treatments and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintaining precise and confidential documentation that meets both legal and ethical standards of practice.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing effective treatment strategies.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to varied populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and client relations.

• Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and adherence to ethical practices in mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will be given preference:

Compensation and Benefits\n
