Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, establishing tailored therapy plans that promote their mental health and wellness.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy, to individuals, families, and groups.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies that enhance client care and improve treatment outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and staying current with research in mental health to refine your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or adjustment issues. Many of our clients come from backgrounds with limited access to traditional mental health services, and your role will be critical in helping them overcome these obstacles through effective counseling techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.

• An active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Connecticut is mandatory for this role.

• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting, demonstrating expertise and proficiency in counseling practices.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling, ensuring the highest quality of care.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with a wide range of clientele.

• The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, determined by experience and caseload.
