Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Emotion Matters, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs to inform individual treatment plans.

• Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities, including small group supervision and seminars focused on best practices in mental health therapy.
\n
• Preparing for client sessions by reviewing case notes and conducting necessary research to understand each individual’s unique challenges.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and detailed client records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards, both in paper and electronic formats.
\n
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and provide holistic support to clients and their families.
\n
• Engaging in consultation with other mental health professionals to devise comprehensive strategies for client care and intervention.

• Supporting treatment plans by interpreting psychometric assessments and providing relevant feedback to treating therapists.

• Attending team meetings and contributing to discussions regarding case management and quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your expertise will help guide clients through their challenges, contributing to their overall mental health and emotional wellness. Through telehealth, you will reach clients across various geographic locations, ensuring equitable access to mental health support.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current, valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) as per state regulations.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party background check.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.

• Demonstrated clinical skills and a strong ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
