Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to fully understand each client's concerns and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans that meet their specific needs.

• Provide engaging one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, virtually or occasionally in-person at our Crofton office, to foster trust and promote emotional growth.

• Offer crisis intervention services to clients in distress, employing sensitivity and expertise to ensure their immediate safety and wellbeing.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client progress, adhering to ethical and legal standards related to confidentiality and records management.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated support for clients, ensuring continuity of care and comprehensive mental health services.

• Stay informed of the latest research, trends, and methodologies in mental health counseling to continuously improve therapeutic practices and client outcomes.

• Contribute uniquely to program development initiatives that enhance the therapeutic offerings of Good Life Psychological Services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients facing various emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your expertise will empower them to navigate their struggles, set meaningful goals, and foster healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure as either an LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Maryland is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience working directly with individuals facing emotional challenges is preferred, although candidates with less experience will also be considered.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems is advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to provide tailored counseling services to diverse populations including individuals, couples, and families.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and deliver culturally competent and affirming care to clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually for full-time counselors. In addition, we provide a monthly healthcare stipend and unrestricted access to our platform’s mental health services for staff, enhancing both personal and professional wellness.
