This position allows for a flexible work environment, fully remote, while serving a diverse patient population. Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to connect with patients through our secure telehealth platform. You will benefit from a supportive and collaborative virtual environment that encourages team interaction and professional growth. Our standard work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility in hours to best meet our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gather comprehensive insights into patients’ experiences and backgrounds, enabling tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting methodologies to suit individual patient experiences, cultural contexts, and specific mental health needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, providing a space for healing, resilience, and personal growth.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Implement crisis intervention techniques to support patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them on their mental health journeys.

• Maintain diligent and confidential documentation of patient interactions in line with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Contribute to case conferences and team meetings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cultural competency.

• Stay abreast of current trends, research findings, and evidence-based practices in the field of mental health therapy, ensuring the highest standards of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Illinois as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
\n
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering culturally responsive and inclusive therapy.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for building rapport with diverse clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing workflow efficiency and accurate documentation.

• Commitment to uphold professional ethics and confidentiality in all client interactions.

• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in community mental health settings or outpatient therapy, particularly with underrepresented populations.

• Familiarity with telehealth technology and virtual therapy practices.

• Exposure to specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness-based approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
