Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess progress, address challenges, and determine the appropriate timing for discharge when suitable.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for each client, including detailed progress notes and treatment updates.

• Perform thorough intake evaluations to establish an understanding of each client's mental health history and current needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Mind and Body Connect, you will engage with a diverse patient population ranging from children to adults, including families facing complex mental health challenges. Your role will involve active listening, therapeutic interventions, and personalized counseling strategies aimed at fostering healing, resilience, and individual empowerment. You will have the opportunity to support clients in navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Unrestricted, independent, current, and active LPC licensure in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting following graduation.

• Proficient in using technology, including spreadsheet programs (Excel), electronic medical record systems (such as RMS), and communication platforms (like Outlook and Pimsy).

• Demonstrated experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
\n
• Strong comfort level in performing intake assessments and evaluations.
