Work Environment\n

This role is primarily conducted remotely, offering flexibility for therapists to manage their schedules efficiently while ensuring a harmonious work-life balance. Our center operates Monday through Saturday, providing you with the autonomy to create your own hours while serving the mental health needs of our clients. We also facilitate in-house credentialing and enrollment with insurance providers, allowing you to focus on what truly matters—providing care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of individuals, families, and groups, applying a tailored approach based on clients’ unique needs.

• Perform initial assessments and develop detailed treatment plans in collaboration with clients, employing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
\n
• Engage in regular communication with team members regarding assessments, treatment progress, and interdisciplinary care planning to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all clinical activities, adhering to organizational standards and legal requirements.
\n
• Provide case management by consulting with community programs and professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in achieving their personalized goals and treatment objectives.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and team supervision sessions to support continuous learning and skill enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your patients will range from children and adolescents to adults and families, reflecting the diverse demographic of Buffalo. You will engage with individuals facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your goal will be to empower clients through effective treatment plans, ensuring each client feels heard and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license in mental health counseling (LMHC), social work (LCSW, LCSW-R), or marriage and family therapy (LMFT) issued by the State of New York.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a similar role, with proficiency in individual and group therapy.

• The ability to work up to 40 hours weekly, with a commitment to meet the needs of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing evidence-based interventions, including CBT, to a diverse clientele.

• Prior involvement in outpatient settings where a collaborative team approach is practiced.

• Knowledge and experience in case management, particularly in coordinating care with external service providers.

Compensation and Benefits\n
