Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the mental health status of clients through interviews, observations, and standardized assessments.

• Design and implement tailored therapy plans that address various mental health concerns including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse disorders.

• Conduct regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote mental health and well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, employing strong de-escalation tactics to manage challenging situations effectively.
\n
• Facilitate referrals to psychiatrists or other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care when necessary.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care and ensure cohesive treatment approaches.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems to comply with organizational and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with a diverse population of clients facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals across all age groups who may be struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. An understanding of culturally responsive practices is essential to address the unique needs of each client effectively and empathetically, recognizing the role cultural context plays in mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license such as LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
\n
• Proven ability to build and maintain rapport with diverse populations through strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

• Commitment to upholding ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and professional boundaries within counseling practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
