Work Environment\n

Our work setting is designed to foster collaboration, respect, and growth. Working remotely provides flexibility, but our team actively engages through regular virtual meetings, team-building exercises, and ongoing cultural competency training initiatives. The scheduling is typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Some flexibility is available to accommodate the individualized needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to effectively evaluate each patient's background, challenges, and needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches that cater to each patient’s cultural context.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address diverse mental health concerns, focusing on patient strength and resilience.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their family members about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and connect them with local community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage actively in case discussions, team meetings, and continued professional development activities to enhance service delivery.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals facing linguistic, cultural, and socio-economic barriers. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid professional license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competency in therapeutic practice.

• Experience in both individual and group therapy that reflects an inclusionary approach.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with a diverse patient demographic.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications for effective practice management.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting providing mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
