Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments that consider each patient’s unique background, experiences, and needs to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), customized to the cultural and personal backgrounds of individual patients.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on a variety of mental health concerns, aiming to promote resilience and overall well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic care to all patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services, ensuring patients receive necessary support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources available to facilitate ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training to enhance personal and organizational understanding of diverse populations.

• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health therapy to continuously improve the quality of care provided.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• A profound understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment options tailored to diverse populations.

• Demonstrable experience in delivering individual and group therapy while employing culturally responsive methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective relationship-building with a wide range of individuals.

• Fluency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with computer applications relevant to telehealth.

Compensation and Benefits\n
