Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for greater work-life balance and flexibility while engaging with clients through teletherapy and digital platforms. Our work schedule generally spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the unique needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately gauge the unique experiences and needs of each individual client.

• Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions tailored to the cultural and personal backgrounds of clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that not only address mental health concerns but also promote resilience and enhance overall well-being.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure integrative care is provided.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, guiding clients through immediate challenges effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available community resources to empower them in their treatment journey.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to further enhance the effectiveness of our services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a broad array of clients, including those from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant populations. Your ability to provide culturally competent care will be paramount in fostering trust and delivering effective treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license in the state of Kansas as either an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C is required.

• An in-depth understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive and inclusive approaches.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills, coupled with the ability to manage challenging situations with composure.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with individuals from varied backgrounds.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications, which are essential for client documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
