Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients experiencing diverse stressors and challenges in their lives.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, evaluating each client’s unique circumstances, strengths, and therapy goals to customize mindfulness practices effectively.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, incorporating mindfulness techniques such as guided meditation, breathing exercises, and self-reflection to support clients' emotional balance and personal growth.

• Lead group therapy workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and building resilience in a collaborative learning environment.

• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for clients.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practice, attending ongoing training in mindfulness techniques to enhance your effectiveness as a therapist.

Qualifications\n

• Hold a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possess a current and valid licensure in New York State as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LPC, or LMFT.

• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic techniques, particularly in integrating mindfulness into treatment interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
