Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct intake assessments for new clients to establish a comprehensive understanding of their mental health needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, tailored to address the unique challenges each client faces.

• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, utilizing both individual and group formats, to foster personal insight and growth.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure holistic care and appropriate referrals when necessary.

• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development sessions to enhance service delivery and ensure adherence to ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve engaging with a diverse client base, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use disorders. A deep understanding of various mental health disorders and cultural competency will enable you to tailor your therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each client. You will also be responsible for creating a safe, empathetic environment that promotes open communication and trust.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating clinical competence and versatility.

• Strong analytical skills to assess various mental health conditions and develop appropriate therapeutic responses.

• Commitment to ethical practices, maintaining confidentiality, and establishing professional boundaries with clients.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and digital communication tools to manage client records and sessions efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing crisis intervention as well as individual and group therapy.

• Knowledge of culturally responsive therapy techniques and community resources.

• Previous telehealth counseling experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
