Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients through comprehensive evaluation methods.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailored to their specific needs, goals, and preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to ensure the highest standard of care.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving client needs and the latest research advances.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care approaches.

• Stay informed about recent developments in the field of mood disorders to enrich treatment practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal and ethical requirements related to client documentation and records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and related mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
