Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health to establish baseline conditions and identify specific therapeutic needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals, interventions, and progress tracking, fostering a client-centered approach.

• Engage in regular therapeutic sessions via our telehealth platform, utilizing evidence-based methods to support clients in their recovery process.

• Implement crisis intervention techniques during sessions as necessary, ensuring immediate support for clients experiencing acute distress.

• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and promptly document session notes, treatment updates, and client progress.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, including referrals to psychiatrists and other specialists when appropriate.

• Participate in professional development activities and contribute to ongoing team training workshops to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client base, including but not limited to individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Your expertise will allow you to address unique cultural, social, and economic factors that influence mental health, facilitating a culturally competent therapeutic experience that resonates with a wide range of individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and ethical standards in therapeutic practice.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
