Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ unique mental health needs, facilitating the creation of tailored treatment plans that are both effective and holistic.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Therapy, helping clients address issues related to trauma, anxiety, and depression.

• Collaborate with clients to establish clear therapeutic goals, regularly tracking their progress to ensure ongoing improvement and adapt treatment as necessary.

• Offer teletherapy sessions, employing secure platforms designed for privacy, catering to clients who prefer virtual appointments or require accessibility support.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client sessions and treatment progress in adherence to ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring transparency and professionalism.

• Engage in professional development initiatives, attending workshops and training sessions that facilitate growth in clinical skills and knowledge of current best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from children to adults experiencing various challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, major depressive disorders, PTSD, and family conflicts. As a mental health counselor at Hope Haven, you will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, creating a safe space for them to express their thoughts and feelings, while guiding them through their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in Oregon as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build strong, trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
