The Expressive Expression Counseling Center is looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations with clients to identify mental health issues and determine appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the needs and goals of each client, ensuring evidence-based practices are utilized.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions (both individual and group) while providing clients with tools and techniques to navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients between sessions to monitor their progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Coordinate referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or specialty therapists, when clients require additional support.

• Document client progress and treatment outcomes diligently within our EHR system, adhering to ethical guidelines and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic practices and client engagement.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competence.
\n
• Experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy while incorporating inclusive therapeutic techniques.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, with an ability to provide support in high-pressure situations calmly.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
