Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a positive and trusting rapport with clients, creating a safe space for open dialogue.

• Diagnose a range of mental health disorders and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to address various psychological challenges.

• Conduct regular follow-up sessions to assess client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and specialists, referring clients to additional resources as necessary for comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wester Mental Psychological Service, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing various mental health issues. You will address challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, trauma, and more, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required to ensure a solid foundation for practice.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or group therapy for a minimum of three years.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a diverse caseload and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with teletherapy platforms is advantageous, given the remote nature of this position.
