This role is designed for a telehealth setting, allowing mental health professionals to utilize cutting-edge digital tools to engage with patients effectively. Working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to meet patient needs, our therapists are equipped with the support and resources necessary to provide exemplary care remotely. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique psychological needs of elderly patients, while considering factors such as cognitive decline and physical health issues.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and cater to the complexities of geriatric mental health care.

• Delivering therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, aimed at addressing conditions like anxiety, depression, and dementia-related disorders.

• Working closely with geriatric psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, integrated treatment approaches for patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, promoting patient safety and well-being.

• Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT, confirming your ability to practice as a licensed mental health professional.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport with elderly patients and their families in a virtual environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
