Data Entry Specialist for AI Model Evaluation [Remote]

Contribute expert-level data entry and validation work to help train next-generation AI systems by designing realistic evaluation tasks and curating complex datasets. This remote contractor role focuses on creating high-fidelity, error-filled inputs and detailed assessment rubrics so AI agents learn to detect and reconcile real-world data problems. No prior AI experience is required, domain knowledge and accuracy are what matter.

• Design and produce evaluation tasks that simulate realistic data entry and validation challenges for AI agents.
• Construct and curate large, complex datasets, including CSV files, PDFs, spreadsheets, and technical documents containing realistic errors such as malformed records, missing data, and inconsistent formats.
• Define the correct final state for each task, specifying exact error cases and reconciliation requirements an AI must address.
• Author detailed grading rubrics with 35 or more criteria to assess AI outputs for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure authored tasks reflect the authentic complexity and standards of highly regulated or audit-sensitive environments.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders through precise written and verbal communication to iterate and refine evaluation materials.

• Required skills: accuracy, discipline, error detection, format reconciliation, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Preferred experience in data entry, quality assurance, or data validation within regulated or audit-sensitive domains such as healthcare claims, finance back office, or legal operations.
• Proven ability to achieve and document high accuracy standards, including measurable error rates and outcomes.
• Strong skill detecting and analyzing data inconsistencies, silent truncations, and formatting irregularities across diverse file types.
• Proficient written English for drafting complex evaluation tasks and comprehensive grading rubrics.
• Process-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable communicating proactively in remote, distributed project environments.
• Experience contributing to projects with high stakes for compliance, accuracy, or data integrity is highly valued.
