Work Environment\n

This is a fully remote position that allows you to bring your expertise to a school setting, offering mental health support to students and families in need. You will collaborate with educators and other therapeutic professionals to create a safe space where students can thrive emotionally and academically. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate the unique needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify the emotional and psychological needs of each client.

• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans, utilizing therapeutic interventions that reflect individual cultural backgrounds and personal experiences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal challenges.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care for students.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and stabilization during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage regularly in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development workshops focused on cultural competence and best practices in therapy.

• Stay informed about the latest clinical research and developments in mental health treatment, ensuring your practice reflects current knowledge and innovations.

In this role, you will work extensively with individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, including underserved communities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, along with proven cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, especially in high-stress situations requiring immediate support.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build meaningful rapport with clients and their families from various backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications relevant to counseling and documentation.
\n
• A strong commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and confidentiality standards in all patient interactions.

• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with a diverse, multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
