Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments of clients’ mental health needs, developing customized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.

• Work collaboratively with clients to set realistic goals and monitor progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to enhance client engagement and success.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic client records, documenting session notes, treatment plans, and client interactions in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Participate in regular supervision and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health care, including workshops or training resources provided by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and various mood disorders. Qualifications\n

• A valid license in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• At least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly in settings that emphasize client-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Superior County Behavioral Health Solutions offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
