Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, evaluations, and ongoing therapy sessions tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing comprehensive client care and contributing to treatment planning and case discussions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to remain current with the latest advancements in mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will encompass a diverse clientele, including adults, couples, and families who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance misuse, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will help guide them toward healthier coping strategies and improved emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona.
• At least two years of experience in a counseling setting, with a preference for clinical contexts.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other relevant healthcare technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience and specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards as they pertain to mental health counseling.
• A proven track record of collaborating effectively within a healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside performance-based bonuses.
