Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for clients, employing effective diagnostic skills to understand their unique situations.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure clients receive comprehensive and holistic care.
• Maintain meticulous, up-to-date clinical records that adhere to ethical standards and legal requirements while also employing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health by participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities throughout the year.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing counseling services in clinical settings.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations surrounding counseling practices.
