Work Environment

This role will be primarily conducted in an outpatient office setting, with the convenience of remote options. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, through an integrated approach to mental health care. We utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline documentation and maintain comprehensive client records, allowing you to focus more on client interaction than administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations for new clients to tailor effective treatment plans that align with their individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions through various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery, continuously adapting to clients' changing needs and circumstances.
• Maintain and update accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, webinars, and other relevant educational opportunities in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with a varied client population, including individuals, couples, families, and groups. Our clients seek support for a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, with no restrictions.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience, ideally within a mental health clinic or comparable setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to counseling and therapy practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients.
• Proficient in switching between different therapeutic modalities to customize interventions suited for individual client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with specialized populations (e.g., trauma survivors, clients with substance abuse issues, couples seeking relationship counseling) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and a willingness to adapt to new technological requirements as needed.
• A collaborative spirit and proven track record of effective teamwork within multidisciplinary health care teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, based on caseload and experience.
