Work Environment

This remote position allows flexibility and supports work-life balance while providing high-quality mental health care through telehealth services. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting our clients' mental health needs, including:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions focused on building connections among clients, allowing them to share experiences and foster mutual support in a safe environment.
• Conducting Individual Counseling: Provide empathetic one-on-one therapy, helping clients articulate their feelings and behavioral concerns, while developing effective coping strategies tailored to their unique situations.
• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaboratively create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect clients' specific challenges, preferences, and progress.
• Monitoring Client Progress: Assess and document each client’s progress through various tools, ensuring that treatment goals are met and adjusted as necessary, while providing constructive feedback.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other mental health professionals within our organization to ensure coordinated care and effective management of complex cases, sharing insights and strategies regularly.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be young adults currently navigating mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. You will contribute to their recovery journey, using evidence-based practices that resonate with their experiences and promote resilience.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Licensure: Valid LPC licensure is essential for this role.
• Clinical Experience: Demonstrated experience working in mental health treatment settings, including residential and outpatient environments, is preferred.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to fostering positive change for both clients and colleagues.
• Clinical Proficiency: Strong clinical skills including competency in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) are highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working specifically with young adults and knowledge of telehealth processes will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Familiarity with treatment methodologies tailored for mood disorders will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Presbyterian Health Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Besides a robust salary, we provide:
