Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, you will play a crucial role in our outpatient treatment center for adolescents and young adults. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: You will lead engaging therapeutic group sessions, fostering a supportive community atmosphere where clients can share their experiences, learn from each other, and build connections.
• Individual Therapy: By conducting personalized therapy sessions, you will help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. You will work with them to develop effective coping strategies and action plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborating with clients, you will create goal-oriented treatment plans that are individualized, addressing specific preferences and concerns to ensure effective outcomes.
• Progress Monitoring: You will track client progress using diverse assessment tools and feedback methodologies, regularly evaluating the effectiveness of the treatment plans and making adjustments as necessary.
• Collaboration: You will maintain open and effective communication with other professionals within the multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and consulting on complex cases to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30, assisting them in overcoming a range of mental health challenges. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients enrich the therapeutic process, providing valuable opportunities for growth and understanding on both sides. Your work will directly impact their journey toward recovery and holistic well-being.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Licensure: You must possess a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
• Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills are essential for building trust and rapport with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a mental health clinical setting, particularly working with adolescents and young adults, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and holistic approaches to therapy.
• Experience in a team-based care model is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers an annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
