Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while offering the opportunity to engage directly with clients through telehealth platforms. Our work schedule operates from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments tailored to the individual, addressing mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs within a primary care framework.
• Provide evidence-based counseling services to individuals, couples, and families with a focus on diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and facilitating crisis interventions when necessary.
• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in an electronic health record system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and Quality Improvement teams to enhance service delivery methods and promote data-driven strategies for mental health outcomes.
• Act as a liaison for clients by connecting them to community resources, support services, and medication assistance programs as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with mental health issues, couples in need of relational support, and families facing systemic challenges. Our client demographic represents various cultural backgrounds and age groups, requiring the LCSW to employ culturally competent approaches in assessment and treatment. The ability to understand and connect with clients from different walks of life is essential to this role's effectiveness.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in California are mandatory.
• A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with proven ability to handle diverse client needs.
• Sound knowledge of therapeutic techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and the capability to exercise independent judgment in direct counseling and patient interactions.
• Strong skills in group facilitation and the planning of group programs are beneficial for this role's success.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using electronic health record systems effectively and skillfully to manage patient documentation and care plans.
• Prior involvement in multidisciplinary teams and a demonstrated ability to collaborate across various healthcare disciplines.

Compensation and Benefits
