Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions focusing on individual client needs, assessing their mental health and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, to facilitate client progress and healing.
• Document client interactions and therapy notes in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development meetings and supervision sessions with peers to enhance therapeutic skills and share insights.
• Collaborate with our administrative staff to streamline client onboarding, manage client caseloads, and ensure billing and insurance matters are handled efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults seeking support for various mental health challenges. Familiarity and experience with the LGBTQIA+ community and men’s mental health issues are particularly valuable, as our client base is diverse in identity and experience. Your work will contribute positively to the mental wellness of individuals from different backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active LCSW license to practice in the State of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in clinical counseling post-licensure.
• Possession of professional malpractice insurance converging with best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Psychodynamic Therapy.
• Desirable experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, though not required.
• Experience in providing support to men’s mental health is a plus.
• Previous experience delivering psychotherapy services to individuals aged 18 and older, especially those from minority and diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to USD 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer:
