Mindfulbear Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time remote basis. Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients while demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve shared clinical goals, promoting a culture of cooperation and support.
• Engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, considering their individual beliefs, traditions, and interpersonal styles to tailor therapeutic approaches.
• Navigate the office’s organizational and financial frameworks to optimize service delivery for clients.
• Adhere to all ethical standards and regulations in practice, including the Mindfulbear Counseling Center's code of conduct.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to conduct effective assessments and short interventions that empower clients toward achieving their goals.
• Facilitate comprehensive care by coordinating treatment plans with clients, families, and other professionals involved in the client’s care.
• Identify and respond to potential safety concerns promptly, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
• Organize or conduct assessments as required, administering appropriate tools to gauge client progress and areas of improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base, primarily supporting individuals experiencing significant mental health issues and emotional distress. Your role is crucial in addressing the needs of underprivileged communities, guiding them through their mental health challenges while fostering resilience and empowerment. Your expertise in assessment and treatment will directly impact their overall well-being and help them reclaim their narratives.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York is required.
• Exceptional proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions relevant to our clientele.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with an ability to navigate complex client needs and situation dynamics effectively.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities to document progress and collaborate with team members accurately.
• A deep understanding of age-appropriate developmental issues and cultural competencies is expected.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience providing therapy and interventions for a variety of mental health conditions.
• Bilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly preferred to enhance communication with a broader range of clients.

Compensation and Benefits
